Hiiii beautiful soul!

Greetings from Gili T! I arrived two days ago, and the sheer joy of being back on my little hippie island is overwhelming. Time for an update on the recent Full Moon at the close of 2023! As I write this, with 2024 just around the corner, I can't help but feel a wave of excitement and reflection. I literally get chills all over my body! This year has been a whirlwind of ups and downs, a true rollercoaster. Yet, as we know, the downs pave the way for the ups, propelling us forward in our journey.

These low moments serve as opportunities to turn inward and address the things that need our attention. The more I connect with the natural cycles and their energies, the more I gain from the experience. It's time to gain a deeper understanding of the currents flowing through your personal life. Join me on this celestial adventure, where the magic of the Full Moon in Cancer unfolds, guiding us to heal, connect, and embrace the warmth of familial bonds.

For the second time this year Full Moon in Cancer

During the Christmas season, there will be a lot of focus on family matters and maybe some hurt feelings may surface. For the second time this year, the Full Moon is in the water sign of Cancer and directly opposite the Moon is the Sun in Capricorn, so you may feel that some things need to be finalized. This could be issues around family life or your career. What happened around the first Full Moon in Cancer in early January of this year may now have a sequel.

The Full Moon makes a conjunction with Jupiter and the black moon Lilith, with the dwarf planet Pholus close to the Sun and directly opposite the Moon. A conjunction can be favorable or unfavorable, but confusing situations can arise because of Pholus. Old issues that have bothered you for a long time may manifest explosively. Arguments may run high and karmic situations may come to an end. This can be felt in the family or work sphere.

Due to the favorable connection of the lucky planet Jupiter with the Full Moon, and the fact that this planet will resume its direct motion in a few days, Jupiter will put a positive spin on this effect. You can go in search of truth, learn lessons from family patterns, and achieve letting go and therefore spiritual growth in the process.

Characteristics of Cancer signs

Cancer is a special kind of water sign. It's called "cardinal," and it's like a leader among the water signs. Picture a crab at the beach – that's Cancer's symbol. This crab moves smoothly between the ocean and the shore, showing how Cancer can handle both feelings and practical things.

Cancers have a strong sense of intuition, like they can feel the vibes in a room without even trying. They're super aware of their surroundings and really good at protecting themselves. Just like a real crab with a hard shell, Cancers might seem a bit distant or cold at first. But give them some time, and you'll discover their gentle side, their caring nature, and their kind of magical abilities. It just takes a little patience to get to know them.

Let me explain how the Moon and Sun relate to specific zodiac signs: Think of the big Galaxy as divided into different areas, each with its own name. These named areas match what we know as zodiac signs. Your zodiac sign is decided by where the Sun was when you were born. The Moon and Sun have strong influences on us, even though they're opposites of each other. They bring special energies into our lives that make us unique. So when the Moon and Sun are in a particular place in the Galaxy, it brings in a different energy that we can tap into.

The cosmic dance between the Full Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Capricorn

In the grand cosmic dance, the Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Capricorn gracefully flow, creating a celestial tango that seeks harmony amid their contrasting traits. Imagine Cancer as a water sign, a realm of deep feelings and intuition, thriving on profound connections within the warmth of family and home. Nurturing and protective, Cancer clings to beautiful memories but struggles with letting go of past hurts.

On the flip side, Capricorn, an earth sign, directs energy into work and long-term goals. Disciplined and reliable, Capricorn weaves a path of structure and rules, providing clarity and calm. Yet, beneath the ambition, a touch of pessimism lingers, ever-ready to spot challenges on the horizon, real or imagined.

The cosmic tango of Cancer and Capricorn is a dance of balance — between private life and domesticity (Cancer) and public life, career, and accountability (Capricorn). Love and attachments are Cancer's domain, while Capricorn governs achievements, rewards, and punishments, embodying the delicate balance between unconditional and conditional love.

The Cancer Moon invites us to cherish our home base and roots, while Capricorn urges a sense of duty and responsibility in the public sphere. Ignoring either side brings about important consequences from the cosmos, and the Full Moon invites you to discover a balance between these energies.

This Full Moon orchestrates a cosmic dance of balancing commitment to both career and family. Something powerful has been brewing within, and now the cosmos insists we let it out. Over the next two weeks, revelations will unfold, compelling us to express our feelings rather than sitting on them.

The Full Moon exposes and illuminates, prompting us to confront neglected aspects of our personal lives. Amid the hustle of relationships, careers, and personal plans, a cosmic nudge encourages considering our emotional needs. It's a moment to dissolve past patterns hindering personal fulfilment, particularly those bound to home, family, work-life balance, and attitudes toward comfort and responsibility.

This Full Moon, in harmony with Jupiter and Saturn, signals readiness for creation. Our revelations, deeply rooted in the past, propel growth. Picture this cosmic tango as a beautiful, transformative journey under the celestial guidance of the Full Moon.

My personal experience with this Full Moon

To be honest, I'm not the typical family-oriented person. It's not that I don't love my family, but living abroad and being far away doesn't bother me much. I guess I'm just an independent girl who values her freedom and prefers to create her own path. That's likely why I can thrive living overseas. I've asked people around me if they feel the same, and most of them don't seem to miss their home front, or they wouldn't have explored so far away.

Above, you got a glimpse of Capricorn characteristics. As a Capricorn, I embody ambition and a strong focus on goals. Three years ago, I felt an irresistible urge to leave my current environment and find a place that aligns better with my soul. I love to pursue the things that truly matter to me. I don't conform to society's picture-perfect expectations; I need to go my own path and do things in my unique way.

However, what does hurt my heart is the guilt I feel being away while my parents grow older, missing significant milestones of friends, my brother's birthday (for the fourth year due to my never-ending travels around that time), the passing of my grandparents, and everything in between. It's tough knowing that people around you need your presence, and you can't physically be there for them. I believe it's something not many people openly discuss.

Yesterday, during a video call with my mom, stepdad, brother, and his girlfriend, we raised a toast to a wonderful 2024. Yet, it's challenging not to be able to hug them. Ending the call to go to sleep while they enjoy a lovely pre-Christmas dinner altogether adds to the difficulty.

I loved family gatherings, especially when my brother, stepbrother, stepsister, their significant others, and me, all around the same age, came together. It was very entertaining after a few Christmas drinks. However, the holidays also brought stress due to the hectic schedule of visiting four families (including divorced parents and those of my ex-partner) within two days. Crossing through the North and East of the Netherlands during the holidays was exhausting.

Living abroad means I don't miss the holiday hustle, but I do miss the positive aspects – being with family, sharing love, and enjoying delightful brunches and dinners. This year, I'm celebrating Christmas, New Year's Eve, and my birthday on Gili T with my amazing community. There's nothing better than celebrating Christmas in warm weather, under palm trees on a white sandy beach, with a stunning sunset, a few gin tonics, delicious Indonesian food, and wonderful people around me. There's also a Full Moon party between Christmas and NYE, so the alcohol will flow abundantly in the upcoming days. Cheers to a festive season in paradise!

My little Christmas reminder for you

I wish everyone an amazing Christmas, New Years Eve and the best 2024 where YOU will align with your unique frequency; your authentic self. Because never forget; everything you want is already in the quantum field. Allow synchronism to unfold in your life in an effortless way and let your life become magical. You are exactly where you need to be. Exactly when you need to be there. Exactly interacting with whom you need to interact. Your life will just starts unfolding in a magical way. This is not just wishful thinking. This is the way it works because everything is connected. And when you allow synchronism to be predominant, and you are aware of it, and you can surrender, it shows you that everything IS, because synchronicity is your linear space-time way of showing that everything is one. That everything is connected.

Everything are just different reflections of the same thing; the thing that aligns with your frequency, when you light up to the fact what you want and need. However, it has to play out in a space-time manner to some degree. However, it can exalerate to marvelous proportions. So the things just become magical.

You know what you need and it's just there. It's not about what you want, but about what you know what you need, and it's there. And what you want and what you need for that starts to become synonymous. You start not making a differentiation. You're not operating from ego. You're operating from awareness. It all just becomes one continuous act and an experience of giving and receiving. Sending and receiving. Reflecting, reflecting, reflecting. Like a mirror. Constantly.

Being aware of all the little synchronicities in life can make you feel supported by the Universe. You can let go, surrender, become neutral, the observer, and therefore become more aware of little signs in your life. These little signs tell you that you are on the right path; just keep going, follow, and don't doubt yourself or change your beliefs. Be on that frequency of the real you - your authentic self.

If this is all new to you, I advise you to read it several times, word for word. It can sound complicated because it's everything that goes against what we learn. It's difficult to grasp our minds around. But it's actually very simple. The Universe doesn't exist on complex fundamentals. The fundamentals are very simple. But we believe that if it isn't complex, it's not fundamentally true.

Merry Xmas and a very happy and aligned 2024!

-XoXo-

Liz
